Five Gables House B&B is the former golf clubhouse of the old Arbroath Golf Club that ran from 1877 to its closure in 1984. We are a unique venue as this is the only accommodation provider in Scotland that used to be a golf clubhouse. The Old Vicarage is a large Victorian house situated in a residential area ,but only minutes walk from town centre, theatres, resturants, harbour/marina, seaton clifftops and abbey.
Rooms are all en-suite and have delightfull views of the famous abbey or views to the sea.
There is an excellent choice of breakfast menu and all our produce is homemade or supplied locally.
The Old Vicarage is a non smoking establishment. It is 5 star and it is also a member of Scotlands Best B&Bs. The Old Vicarage has recently been given a Bronze Award by Green Tourism Business Scheme.
